On my journey with endometriosis/adenomyosis and infertility, there are quite a bit of supplements and medications I am currently taking. I am taking daily supplements to help lower inflammation and also to help me with the IVF process, I will soon be starting. The IVF medication is different and I will not be discussing in this blog, mostly because I have not fully researched all of it yet. That medication is mostly hormones and will be discussed later :)
Anyways, on to the supplements and medications my doctor has asked that I take and the benefits of each. Some supplements I started taking on my own to help with my specific needs. However, she is aware of all of the supplements and medications I am taking.

*Medical disclaimer* Always consult with your doctor prior to starting on any supplements or medications. Every body is different and deficiencies may vary!*
Medications that contain an asterisk (*) are a prescription from my doctor.
Multivitamin- This is a must for me. I take a multivitamin every day to help with vitamins I may not be getting from foods.
Magnesium- This may help with stress, improve sleep (I typically take it at night), bone health, reduce anxiety.
Probiotic- This helps regulate good gut health by introducing good bacteria into the body.
Fish Oil: May support heart health and reduce inflammation.
Vitamin C and Zinc: this may help the immune system and increase energy.
Prenatal vitamin: The iron and folic acid is helpful during pregnancy. It can help to support pregnancy pre-conception.
Inositol: I have not started taking this one yet. My doctor recently asked me to start taking it. My doctor recommended this one to help lower blood sugar and help with PCOS.
CoQ10: May help with egg quality. May also help support the immune system.
*Cabergoline- Through infertility testing, my doctor found that my prolactin levels were elevated. This is not ideal for a woman who is not currently breast feeding and those levels can be elevated for many reasons that are difficult to pin-point. To help lower these, I am taking Cabergoline every three days to help regulate those levels. I will need to continue taking this until I get pregnant.
*Norethindrone- This one is my birth control and stops my period. Endometriosis is exasperated with every period; therefore, I have to be on birth control to help keep it at bay.

Also, side note, my doctor has made these recommendations to help with IVF success, the goal is to lower inflammation. I am taking other measures which I have outlined here:
if anything changes, I will be making changes/ edits but for now this is it!
