The Bright Light at the End of the Tunnel
My experience going through IVF As someone who has gone through the IVF process, it is important for me to share my experience. I want to share the good, bad, ugly and all of the in between. Through my teenage years and early adulthood, I always though it was easy to get pregnant and start a family. Even at the first signs of infertility, I was assured that I was "young" and would be able to start a family of my own with no issues. Spoiler alert, this has not been my experien

My go-to green smoothie
Lately, I have been on a health kick and making sure to eat foods that nourish my body. One of my favorite ways to nourish my body (especially when really busy) is making smoothies. My go-to green smoothie is filled with vitamins, minerals, fiber, protein, antioxidants, inflammation fighting properties and more! I love this drink and make it regularly, it has so many added benefits. The awesome part of smoothies is that there are so many variations to make. I also really enjo

Visiting the small haunted town of Bisbee, AZ
In the spirit of Halloween, spooky season, I wanted to take the time to recall our trip to the small haunted town of Bisbee, AZ earlier this year. Bisbee, Arizona (February 2023) We drove to Bisbee in February of 2023, which was roughly a 3 hour and 20 minute drive south of Phoenix. It is extremely close to the Mexican border. The plan was to visit the small mining town, since we heard it was haunted. I had just returned from New Orleans from a work trip and in taking a haunt

Supplements to help lower inflammation
On my journey with endometriosis/adenomyosis and infertility, there are quite a bit of supplements and medications I am currently taking. I am taking daily supplements to help lower inflammation and also to help me with the IVF process, I will soon be starting. The IVF medication is different and I will not be discussing in this blog, mostly because I have not fully researched all of it yet. That medication is mostly hormones and will be discussed later :) Anyways, on to the

Inflammation and why we need to lower it
What is inflammation? How does it affect our bodies? Why do we need to lower it? How does lowering inflammation help our overall health? Until about a year ago, I started learning about chronic inflammation and the negative impacts of it on your body. I learned about inflammation after learning that I have endometriosis and researching the condition. Inflammation kept coming up as a topic on most of the research. To learn about endometriosis and how I was diagnosed, check out

Favorite parts from my recent trip to Italy and Greece
I recently took a trip to Italy (Rome and Amalfi Coast) and Greece through a group travel company. I absolutely loved it, to say the least. It was a total of ten days, spending about four days in Italy and the rest in Greece, in Athens and some of the Greek islands. This post is to share my favorite parts of what I experienced from traveling in a group and the trip itself. Food The food is of course of of my favorite parts. I noticed that the pasta did not have the same affec

Car detailing and becoming business owners
Wait, cars need to be kept clean regularly? Why is this important? The extend of my knowledge of cars, before meeting my husband, was that if my car got me where I needed to be, I was solid. Over the years and through my husband, I have a new found appreciation for cars and keeping them in the best shape and as clean as possible. Being a young married couple, you learn a ton about each other's hobbies and interests. My now husband has always had a passion for cars. For perspe

How I bought my first home at 23
Purchasing your first home can be overwhelming. Here, I will discuss how I was able to achieve this at 23, by myself. Standing on my dirt lot where my home would be built (January, 2019) Owning a home is a huge investment! It is an incredibly satisfying feeling to have freedom to design a home without restrictions and without answering to a landlord. Owning a home is an investment and in this post, I will talk through how I took a risk and how it has paid off, 4 years later.
